This striking chestnut two-year-old filly by champion sire Written Tycoon, out of the Tavistock mare River Tamar (NZ), was secured at the 2026 Magic Millions Gold Coast Horses in Training Sale, in partnership with Ciaron Maher Bloodstock.

Combining an outstanding pedigree, an impressive breeze-up performance and the backing of one of Australia's leading racing stables, she represents an exciting opportunity for our owners.

Her sire, Written Tycoon, is one of Australia's elite stallions, having previously commanded a service fee of $250,000.

With his outstanding record and exceptional commercial appeal, we believe securing a daughter of his below his service fee, particularly one with such an impressive breeze-up performance, strong pedigree and highly rated performance data, represents outstanding value for our owners.

IMPRESSIVE BREEZE-UP PERFORMANCE

Our filly caught the eye with a sharp 10.82-second breeze-up on the grass at the Gold Coast, demonstrating her athleticism and natural ability.

Importantly, she was identified through Ciaron Maher & Starblue's extensive selection process, which combines physical inspections, expert horsemanship and detailed performance data.

Ciaron Maher's Head of Bloodstock, Will Bourne, explained that the stable had undertaken significant analysis of previous graduates from the sale, identifying the performance metrics associated with successful metropolitan racehorses.

The Written Tycoon filly ranked in a very high percentile against those benchmarks, making her a standout prospect for the team.

This data-driven approach, combined with the stable's expert assessment of her physical attributes and breeze-up performance, gives us plenty of confidence in her potential.

She is the first foal of River Tamar (NZ), a daughter of Tavistock, whose family features outstanding black-type performers.

Her dam River Tamar is a half-sister to:

BELLE DU NORD (NZ) - Winner of the Group 2 Cal Isuzu Stakes and twice runner-up at Group 1 level.
The stakes-placed mare who produced WATCH ME ROCK - Winner of the Group 1 Railway Stakes in Western Australia.

Purchased in partnership with Ciaron Maher Bloodstock, this filly will join the powerful Ciaron Maher Racing operation, benefiting from the experience, facilities and expertise of one of Australia's most successful training teams.

Her selection was supported by extensive breeze-up analysis, pedigree assessment and physical inspections, with the aim of identifying a horse possessing the attributes to develop into a quality metropolitan performer.

The following figures provide an indicative guide to expected ongoing monthly costs based on ownership percentage:

2.5% - approximately $150 per month
5% - approximately $300 per month
10% - approximately $600 per month

These amounts are estimates only, calculated on an average monthly basis over a year. Actual monthly costs may vary from time to time depending on training, veterinary, transport, racing, and other associated expenses.
