We are especially proud of what we have achieved through this approach. From the 2024 draft, we identified multiple Group-performed horses, including Group 2-winning filly Salty Pearl, now the top-performing progeny of Tagaloa. On Cox Plate Day 2025, she delivered a major result by winning the Group 2 Fillies Classic, a tremendous achievement for everyone involved and a proud moment for our team.

Alongside her, Oyster Lane, another standout from the same draft, has shown enormous potential. He recorded a 93.1 rating on debut, the second-highest rating for any 2YO in the 2024/25 season, when finishing a close second at Caulfield. He then followed with another impressive second at Flemington, finishing just 0.15L behind last season’s top-rated two-year-old Shining Smile, before adding another placing at Moonee Valley. While he is yet to win, he has already demonstrated the profile of a horse capable of competing at the highest level.

From the 2025 draft, several of our two-year-olds have already reached the track. Seraphox made his debut at Royal Randwick in the Group 2 Todman Stakes, the key lead-up to the Golden Slipper, producing a highly encouraging performance off only one trial in a very strong race. We expect to see him competing in high-level races moving forward.

​

We also had Cliff Runner make his debut in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic in South Australia, where he ran an outstanding second on debut. It was a performance full of promise, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for him.

Horses selected through our program have competed in some of the most prestigious Group and feature races in Australia, consistently performing at an elite level.

Season 2024/25 Recap: Two Rising Stars Shine 

As the curtain falls on another exciting season, we celebrate major progress and the emergence of two standout 2YOs: Salty Pearl and Oyster Lane. Both sourced in partnership with Ciaron Maher Bloodstock, they’ve already signaled elite potential.

​

• Salty Pearl: Group 3 placed at 2, Second 0.45L from the winner in the $250,000 VOBIS Gold Rush (her run rated 91.6), metro winner at Caulfield, and now the top-performing progeny of Tagaloa.

• Oyster Lane: Debuted with a run rating 93.1 -  the second-highest for any 2YO this season and followed up with a narrow defeat 0.15L (Shinning Smile) at Flemington.

This season also brought numerous wins and placings across the team, made possible by our dedicated trainers, loyal owners, and strong vision for growth. Our investment in elite bloodstock and Starblue Consultancy ensures we’re only just getting started.
