Jeremy Cross

BSc-ExSc, DPhty

ACSM-HFS, APAM

Director of Equine Physiotherapy and Management

With over ten years of experience as a leading physiotherapist and managing his own practice, Jeremy applies the same passion for rehabilitation and results for his horses, as he does his human athletes. Growing up on a vineyard outside of Geelong, Victoria, Jeremy gathered his farming experience on their property, surrounded by family, cattle and horses. Moving forward, Jeremy has successfully worked with elite stables between AUS and NZ, aiming to isolate a select number of trainers to reach a sustainable level in horse racing. Jeremy’s primary goal is to educate, support and nurture results with trainers by utilising evidence-based research to get wins.  Jeremy has also completed all the requirements to obtain his trainers license, understands the ins/outs of exercise prescription, has learned from to top trainers in the world, and will be employing his skillset with every horse.

Jeremy’s success with Triple Group-1 Winner, CALLSIGN MAV (NZ), is a testament to his selection and treatment prowess.  Jeremy is a consultant to Danny O’Brien; who trains CALLSIGN MAV (NZ).

EP&M/EPM Racing has been incredibly successful in reaching its full potential with its horses.  They receive regular Physiotherapy, supported by exercise programming to work in with the training programs and they are running at a 20% Stakes runners/runners’ ratio currently.  The cross of High Chaparral x Stravinsky has yielded 10 runners for 7 winners thus far - an excellent ratio for any cross!

EP&M's horses in collaboration with Starblue Consultancy receive at no extra charge regular Physiotherapy, supported by exercise programming to work in with the training programs. https://www.equinephysiomanagement.com/
