IRE, UK & FR Alexandre Badri
Racing Consultant, France, United Kingdom & Ireland
Alexandre discovered the world of Horse Racing as a young kid and decided to join the most prestigious racing school in Chantilly at the age of fourteen ( Le Moulin a Vent, France), where he earned his conditional jump jockey license for the mighty French trainer Francois Doumen.
In time, he was lured by his hunger to experience new adventures and cultures. His first port of call was at Newmarket in the United Kingdom where he secured a position with the world-renowned Godolphin stable and worked for trainers M.Al Zarrooni and Charlie Appleby. After working for Godolphin for four years he was given the opportunity to travel to Australia and work under John O Shea who was managing Godolphin’s Australian string at the time.
His time in Australia was divided between Warwick Farm and Flemington. The most recent highlight of his career was riding a horse owned by Queen Elizabeth II in Dubai. Alexandre also traveled with the international campaigner "One Master" to Churchill Downs (The Gr1 Breeders' Cup Mile) and Hong Kong ( The Gr1 Longines Hong Kong Mile). Both horses are trained by renowned Newmarket-based trainer William Haggas. One Master won the Gr1 Prix de la Foret 2019 on the Arc day in Longchamps (Paris).
Mr. William Haggas's testimony after her win towards Alexandre: "Alex Badri rides her and he is fantastic with her, he knows when she is right and she was spot on today so he was right again." Alexandre has a wealth of experience and his opinion was keenly sought after by the trainers he worked for. His sharp judgment is well illustrated by the success of his tipping website which has thrice been awarded “the best tipster of the month” since he first created it. As of today, Alexandre is based in Deauville, France, and rides work for Yann Barberot. Alexandre's wealth of knowledge and a keen eye will be a valuable asset for StarBlue's clients in France, the United Kingdom, and Ireland looking to secure a great investment.
